These Terms of Service apply to QuantekLab, MakersPlace Kenya, this website, our STEM education programs, robotics events, software portfolio, donations, and related services. By using our website, submitting a form, registering for a program, donating, or requesting a software service, you agree to these terms. Our Services
QuantekLab provides STEM education, robotics training, teacher support, innovation programs, events, competitions, digital learning products, and software development or licensing services for schools, learners, families, NGOs, and organizations.
Accounts and Forms
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting forms, registering for events, making inquiries, or using our services. You are responsible for ensuring that you have authority to submit information on behalf of a learner, school, team, organization, or minor.
Programs and Events
Program schedules, eligibility, locations, fees, learning outcomes, competition rules, and deliverables may vary by program. We may update program details where necessary for safety, venue, partner, curriculum, operational, or regulatory reasons. Participants must follow event rules, safety instructions, safeguarding requirements, and directions from authorized staff or partners.
Payments and Donations
Fees, donations, and sponsorships may be processed through bank transfer, M-Pesa, donation platforms, or other approved payment methods. You must provide truthful payment references and should never share your M-Pesa PIN, bank password, or card security information with us. Unless a written program policy states otherwise, donations are voluntary and may be non-refundable once allocated. Program fee refunds, transfers, or cancellations are handled based on the relevant program notice, written agreement, or applicable law.
Software and Digital Products
Software products and digital services, including portfolio solutions and LabLearn-related services, may be subject to separate license, support, maintenance, service-level, privacy, or product terms. Unless agreed in writing, demos, portfolio descriptions, and feature lists are informational and do not guarantee that every feature is available, included, or suitable for your exact use case.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse our website, systems, programs, or learning environments.
